I had a simple goal in mind when I began Teaching Smart – to help educators understand how interactive whiteboard technology can effectively engage 21st century learners.

Prior to joining SMART Technologies in 2001, I was an elementary school teacher with the Calgary Board of Education. My time with SMART Technologies was spent supporting the implementation and adoption of SMART products in school districts around Western Canada.

As a previous Certified Education Consultant with SMART Technologies, I know how difficult it can be to find individuals who understand the technology as well as the unique needs of educators. Many times workshops are offered that overwhelm and overload educators with information, leaving them unable to make the connections needed to affect teaching and learning. I offer relevant, curriculum-based, SMART-focused workshops that provide the skills, knowledge and tools needed to integrate SMART products into the classroom.
